We are interested in hearing from people with skills
in all business languages and particularly keen on retaining specialists
in languages from Latin America (Brasil, Argentina, Chile,and others),
and the Far East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and
Thai) and emerging East European (Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian
Slovak) markets.
That depends which team you wish to join. We offer
two classes of translations, Business Critical Translations
and Standard Business Translations
and assign our translators to separate teams accordingly. Please remember
to specify which team you with to join when applying. Qualifications
for each team are described below.
Standard Business & Business Critical Translation team:
You will need a minimum of 5 years relevant commercial experience.
Please do not apply to join the team unless you meet this requirement.
Ideally we'd also like you to belong to the Institute of Translators
and translators or other internationally recognised professional
body.
First Draft Translation team: You will need
a minimum of 2 years relevant commercial experience. Please
do not apply to join the First Draft Translation team unless you
meet this requirement.

therefore you will need to demonstrate a successful
track record to be considered. If you are just starting out on your
career as a translator, we wish you luck and hope

No, although all translators are required to complete a short test
piece (You will be paid for this work). translators will be interviewed
and references sought.
Phone: Being responsive is what it's all about. We must
be able to contact you easily by telephone during working hours
(and sometimes outside working hours as well).
Internet connected computer: Translators must have access
to either an IBM compatible personal computer and/or an Apple Mac
system. As a minimum, we ask that you have an email address, know
how to send and receive attachments, and are capable of producing
documents in Microsoft Word for Windows format. Access to other
software packages (especially Microsoft Office) is a definite advantage.
Fax: Many clients prefer to submit documents
via fax. For this reason it is important that you have access to a
fax machine for both sending and receiving purposes.

Mexican Pesos or US Dollar
within 30 days of receipt of your invoice. We pay you even if our
client does not pay us. We pride ourselves on our payment record.
